Hi, I’m Carrie. I make weird, wonderful things.
Layer3D is a one-person studio where every product is printed and finished by hand.
From practical repairs to tiny dragons at 2 a.m.
My first 3D printer was supposed to be for household repairs and cable management. That practical plan lasted about two weeks. I got hooked on color, texture, and the strange things that happen when digital design becomes a real object you can hold.
Filament paintings were the first moment that made me think, “People might actually want this.” I still love the way layers of PLA catch light differently every time you move around a piece.
DesignI use great designs from artists whose work I’m licensed to print.
PrintEach piece runs on a small fleet of FDM printers, from a couple of hours to a couple of days.
FinishEvery item is assembled and checked by hand before it goes out.
ShipOrders are packed carefully with tracking and usually head out in 2–5 business days.
