Hi, I’m Carrie. I make objects with a point of view.
Layer3D is a one-person studio where every piece is printed and finished by hand.
From practical prints to pieces that belong in a room.
My first 3D printer was supposed to be for household repairs and cable management. That practical plan lasted about two weeks. I got drawn to color, texture, and the moment a digital design becomes a real object you can hold.
I love the way printed layers catch the light, and how a small object can shift the feeling of a shelf, table, or quiet corner.
DesignI select and develop designs with strong shape, texture, and everyday purpose.
PrintEach piece runs on a small fleet of FDM printers, from a couple of hours to a couple of days.
FinishEvery item is assembled and checked by hand before it goes out.
ShipOrders are packed carefully with tracking and usually head out in 2–5 business days.
